The METAscripta website uses the Dublin Core standard to index the metadata for each manuscript.
- To search by COUNTRY of origin, select Coverage (Country) and provide a value such as "Italy"
- To search by LANGUAGE, select Language and provide a value such as "Italian"
- To search by CENTURY, select Temporal Coverage (Century) and supply a century name, e.g. "14th"
Use
Add Search Property to combine any of the above searches and
Add Collection to filter your search by collection,
such as "All manuscripts from Italy written in Italian in the 14th century and part of the
Vat. lat. collection."
By default, no collection filter is set, so items from any/all collections will be returned.
